| So there's been a lot of debate on whether getting slow over fire arrow, and is it really worth it? Is fire arrow completely useless? Not until you get a decent fire strike. And its not much stronger than magic claw? Wrong. With magic claw 40x2att there isn't much knockback potential on it. And at max fire arrow is 110 its fairly stronger and can knockback most mobs. I'm a 68bw and my magic claw damage max to a fire weak mob is only 1700 1700 = 3400 While fire arrow max is around 5100, thats significantly stronger by 1700 damage, with much more knockback potential. But moving on, its not that people don't want fire arrow. It's that they'd rather have slow to combo with 3rd job's fire gear/curtain. But from my opinion, slow isn't all that worth it. If you watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkmCk9NQdi4 (youtube) it will show that you can just put fire gear everywhere possible so the mobs can't escape. And also even if the mob walks out of the fire they are still burned, and damage persists. So slowing the mob to make them stay inside the gears longer, doesn't really matter. I haven't gotten a definitive answer from any high level blaze wizards about this. But from my research, I'm leaning towards no slow. I hope this clears some things up, and if you're still indecisive. Try this build. Max everything with 11booster and 10slow. Its an all around build where you get every skill and no regrets. Thank you. |
