Here's a few funny stories, not sure if you've heard them. Bush visited Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of England. Gordon Brown presented Bush with a pen holder made from the wood of the HMS President, the sister ship of the HMS Resolute. The HMS Resolute is the ship from which two desks were made. One desk is in the Queen's study at Buckingham Palace and the other one is in the Oval Office. What did Bush get Gordon Brown? 25 American DVDs which may or may not work when played in British DVD players. Embarrassing right? It gets worse. Laura Bush got Gordon Brown's two sons models of Marine One, the President's Helicopter. Gordon Brown's wife got the Bush daughters designer dresses, matching necklaces, and some classic British novels. Bush also made a joke about the Special Olympics on the Tonight Show, saying that he bowled so badly, "it was like the Special Olympics." Bush also gave the Queen of England an iPod with his speeches on it. Laura Bush patted the queen on the back, when people really aren't allowed to touch the queen. How embarrassing. Bush's administration okayed Air Force One and its F-16 escorts to fly low over Manhattan for a "photo op", thus causing thousands of New Yorkers to evacuate their offices and panic. How insensitive. Perhaps the most shocking thing about these stories is that they're actually not about Bush; they're about Obama. I'm not saying that Bush never messed up, but the extent to which he is so protected by the media is reaching epic and ludicrous proportions. If it weren't for the internet, you may not have even heard of any of these things.

rodoner : When I saw the DVD part I knew it was about Obama. Some things I will say are uncalled for... but most of these only affect him as his job as a diplomat. It's just absolutely embarrassing, especially the Gordon Brown thing. It's just so...like holy crap. He's the President of the United States, how does he let these things fly? And if he isn't the one making the choices, then why are his staffers so incompetent? @AlfaQ: Replace Bush with Obama and replace Laura Bush with Michelle Obama.

You know what Obama has not done? Start a meaningless war! You know what Bush HAS done? Waste trillions of dollars on a meaningless was bringing us into a recession, not to mention he lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction Michael Moore was right about Fahrenheit 9/11, the only good thing that Bush has ever done was bringing Medicare to the U.S., which right-winged rednecked approve without knowing it is a single-payer government-funded program! Wanna talk politics to me, I freaking dare you. Keith Olbermann is the best person to win flame wars in a very manly and democratic way! And in my opinion, I think anyone relating themselves to Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, and any of the ignorant, arrogant, close minded, middle class conservative extremists disrupting the state townhall discussions on healthcare reform is a bad bad thing.

On topic: You're no less a sheep than those who oppose Bush with so much blight. Every president in the history of the United States have made mistakes, neither of which are viable arguments for or against any other president.
