Dumb person at 7-Eleven. (Problem!)

So yesterday i went to 7-Eleven for ULTIMATE GAME CARDS. (Use able for almost every game.) Heres the story. I picked up two cards, and waited in line. Nothing special. When it was our turn, we gave him two cards. He took them and went to the register to activate them like normal. When i got home i tried to pay with one, it worked. Then i tried to pay with my second card, and it said "This card has not been activated and cannot be redeemed." So the register guy only activated one card, isn't that smart? So the questions i have are, Can i take the card AND the receipt and get the guy to activate it? (The register guy was not from this country, if anyones going to ask.)

Yes. He should reactivate it for you. Does it come out as activated on the receipt?

im thinking he didnt know that you have to activate the card by scanning. Therefore he scanned the one card 2 times like they do when u buy like 10 paper towel rolls of the same kind. Yes they do activate them for you as long as you go in there and show the receipt.

If the clerk purposely didn't activate the 2nd card just to get more profit from your precious money, just go back to the store with the receipt and get him to activate it again. Otherwise, file a complaint (if possible) or a lawsuit.
