| Well yes, just another stupid kid with a tech problem, but id greatly appreciate any help. After the useless patch, i had to redownload maple. Twice. THEN. it went through! and the screen darkened, after the hackshield loading and whatnot, as ms would normally do. After a few seconds, everything maple related goes away like nothing happened. I've redownloaded maple numerous times, and i've fiddled with the Hshield folder. Can someone with the same issues that found the solution enlighten me? D: LOL. (: Fiddled meaning I updated the hs folder. Same problem. |

| Have you tried restarting your computer? I know it probably won't work, but it's worked for me before. |

| Try this . If your MS is just randomly closing w/o warning or error messages , this should work . 1.) Make sure you`re on an ADMIN account . 2.) Open your start menu . Click run , and type in CMD. 3.) Once CMD is opened , type in these EXACT words : netsh winsock reset 4.) Press enter. 5.) Restart your computer. It worked for me . And a lot of other people say it worked for them too . But some people are just saying "LOLOLOL THAT`S BS THAT WON`T WORK HAHAHHA" just cuz they see the word "reset" and don`t know what it does . ;~; They piss me off . If it doesn`t work that srry , i don`t know . It actually resets any third party LPS that might interfere with ms running . |

This is for connection problems, It may work, but most likely not (as the thread starter stated his problem in a different manner). freakyty : After hitting enter, it says 'The requested operation requires elevation.' and i restarted anyway, and noting worked D: @ above, btw. If it says the request operation requires elevation, that means you might not be on an admin account (This is necessary). But that error is quite general (Microsoft / whatever company doesn't have time to make specific errors). It may be a problem with your anti-virus, so try shutting that off while playing maple and see how it goes. Other solutions I can think of are: 1) System Restore to an earlier date and try again. 2) Reformat your computer (backup important files!) 3) Make sure your not having a hardware failure (Lol @ this, but maple is coded wrong, so it takes up a bunch of unnecessary ram/memory for no particular reason.) |

Make sure you`re on an admin account . . . o: If it still doesn`t work , try finding the actual CMD.exe file , and right click > run as administrator . o___o . But yeahh , it is for connection problems , idk for sure what your problem is o3o . . . lol . |

| Jesus. I was truely hoping for a -facepalm- moment. LOL. Noooothins really worked o-o Its somthing to do with the computer, for sure. I quit playing maple for awhile on this computer, so i missed a couple pathches. That probably doesnt matter, but my other computer is fine. Its just that the OTHER computer isnt mine. ill just mess around with the anti-virus programs and all that until i get it. Thanks for the help though :DD |
