I'd have to admit my day up till 11:11 had been pretty crappy. My day started to turn around when I got a text from my girlfriend saying she needed a ride back from the carnival. (I had earlier left her there with a friend because I couldn't stand the crowds) So I go to pick her up. We start talking about the meteor shower that is still going on tonight. And I have this great idea. Why not go drive to some dirt road and park and watch meteors? So we found a dirt road after a considerable amount of driving. We try to sit on the hood of the car, but it keeps making that weird denting noise. Anyways we popped open the trunk and found my sleeping bag and laid that on the ground and laid down on the sleeping bag. Together we saw 15 meteors. We both have never seen a meteor shower before, so this was quite a treat. This concludes the best night of my life.

DanAikido : lol @ ts making fake story in attempt to gain attention It did seem kinda all surreal to me. @above Saskatchewan, but they will still be entering the Earth's atmosphere where you live. You need complete darkness to see them any good though. Kinda sucks that you live in a big city with a bunch of light pollution.

When I was three, my family and my friend's family all went to this park and stayed until nighttime. There was a meteor shower and my friend and I were too young to know what was going on. My older cousin told us we were supposed to wish. My friend was bugging me and I was so annoyed by him. Then I saw a meteor and I wished that someday he would go away and never come back. We grew up together and were best friends. When we were fourteen, more than 11 years after that wish I had long forgotten, he got in a car crash with his family and was the only one who didn't survive. Sure, coincidence. I was watching the meteor shower last night and couldn't help but remember that.
