Which do you guys prefer doing/is a better option? Buying cheap and then selling for a little more profit will probably sell faster. Buying cheap and then selling expensive will get more mesos at the cost of more time.

It all depends. If you have lots of stock but not much money left over to merchant with, then sell it for cheap. If you have the stock and have the money then why not make a little bit more profit if you're not desperate for the mesos?

if the item is too common then i would not sell it as much as a super merchanter would. if the item is hard to get, it depends on how desparate one is

For the buying AND selling cheap method it's like this (I'm making up prices): buying a 6 atk WG for 20mil and selling it for 21mil really quickly. That way you'd get quick 1mil profit. Personally, I don't merchant much, but still want a decent profit, so I guess I'm somewhat in the middle.

Buy expensive, sell for 5% profit. That's what I do.
