A guide to quickly making monster crystals. for AGES ( maybe 2 weeks) now i have been looking from monster to monster trying to find monsters that drop alot and monsters that dont to stay away from for the maker skill. I've found a good list of them. If you find any mistakes, please tell me (or even something you don't agree with or want to add). So this guide will teach you all the really good monsters that drop a good amount of etc. items so you can make monster crystals faster. What is a monster crystal? Monster crystals - Monster crystals can be created by combining 100 or more of a certain etc. item. How to make a monster crystal To make a monster crystal, you must open your maker skill, click the little drop down list, click "Monster.." and click the drop down list next to it, and click Monster crystal. Then drag 100 of any etc item from a monster level 31~200 into the box and press create! Level 31~50 crystals - Ratz - In ludi EOS tower. easily found in groups. Level 32. - Jr Cellion, Lioner, or Grupin - Found in "Road to the garden of three colors", Level 33. - Retz - Found in all of helios tower. Level 36. - Chronos - Found in "Path of Time <2>". drop Cogs. Level 37. - Cold eye - Found in a lot of places but the one i most recommend is "Sleepy Dungeon III". Level 40. - Desert Giant - Scarce in numbers but drop a lot. good for non-mobbers. I recommend "The Giant of the Sunset" hidden street. Level 40 - Skeledog - One of the harder ones. found in "Remains <Tomb> I, Remains <Tomb> II, Remains <Tomb> III" All are pretty good. Level 44. - Wraith - Good for clerics. found in " Subway Line 2 Area 1, Subway Line 1 Area 4," Level 48. - Jr. Yeti - Found in good numbers. I recommend "Watch Out for Icy Path I". Level 50. - Straw Target Dummies - found in "Practice Field: Beginner,Practice Field: Easy Level, Practice Field: Normal Level" (the first one being the best) Level 50. Level 51~60 crystals - Roid - Found in "Lab - Area C-1, Lab - Area C-2". Level 54. - Book Ghost - Good for non-mobbers. found in "Foggy Forest, Virtuous Forest,". Level 55. - Samiho - I recommend "Fox Ridge". level 56. - Water Goblin - Found in "Vanished Village" level 60. Level 61~70 crystals - Master Soul Teddy - Another good trainer. found in " Forgotten Path of Time <1>" Level 67. - Rash - found in "West Leafre Forest" and drops 2 etc items so twice the chance. Level 70. Level 71~80 crystals - Lucida - I recommend "Garden of Darkness I". Level 73 Level 81~90 crystals - Goby (or bombing fish house) - Good for Mobbers. I recommend "Deep Sea Gorge I" Level 85 - Blue, Red, and Black Kentaurus - Found in "Battlefield of Water and Darkness, Battlefield of Fire and Darkness, The Area of Black Kentaurus, Battlefield of Fire and Water, The Area of Red Kentaurus, The Area of Blue Kentaurus" level 88. Fight whichever one suits your element. Level 91~100 crystals - Spirit Viking - Good training for Hermits. found in " Warped Path of Time <4>". Level 93 Level 101~110 crystals -Skelegon

Any Time Temple monsters are good for this, especially if you're doing the 999's. Besides, places like Himes are always full of people trying to train, so if you're just hunting for ETC drops, it might not be the best place.

if you are doing reverse weapons which require advance monster crystals 2 (lvl 111-120) and 3 (lvl 121-130) i would go for : qualm chief guardians (lvl 116) good mobs, descent exp, and descent drops, etc. items excellent (for advance monter crystal 2) : oblivion guardians (lvl 128) good mobs, really good exp, nice drops as well, etc. items excellent (for advance monster crystal 3)

Do himes work after the patch? You couldn't make crystals out of hime etc drop before it, at least.

If it's not in your monster book, you won't be able to use the etc items for a crystal. So your slimeys (the essences) and himes might not work.

Fastest way to obtain crystals: 1. Choose the Crystal you need 2. Check the maker skill and find the equips that you need that crystal in order to forge them 3. Buy equips of the same level in fm (preferably nooby ones- stats don't matter. overalls and weapons are the best but everything else is fine) 4. Click the "disassemble" option, choose "monster crystal", put the equip you bought in the only place and click "ok" (or whatever it is, i don't remember and I don't have the patience to check now) 5. Wait a few seconds 6. You will find a number of monster crystals in your etc! It works for well for everything up to advanced monster crystals (unless you want to disassemble level 110+ equips). For these- buy skelegon drops (for lever 1 ones) and skelosaurus (for level 2 ones). Level 3 advanced crystals can be obtained only by getting oblivion monsters drops or by making lots of level 2 crystals in a row (you get a slight chance to get a level 3 advanced monster crystal).

This. Easier to roam fm and buy crappy equips for very cheap, then dissemble and get the crystals that way. You get 0-10 crystals each equip. I'm not sure if stats matter or not.
