So I managed to catch some of the meteor shower last night.

I saw some REALLY bright streaks of light, too. One was bright enough that I could see the smoke coming off it! But then somebody called the cops on me because they thought I was a dead body... Protip: Never try to watch a meteor shower in a senior living community unless you have roof access.

I did the same thing. I lay in the middle of the road at 1:30. We live in a rural area so I wasn't too worried about the neighbors. I didn't see anything good, though. I would look in one direction and see a flash in another direction. Then, looking in that direction, the next flash would come from where I was previously looking.

I saw a good 12+ in an hour. So magnificent. Just seeing one in the sky made my night
