Web Design Project: Art of Mindstormer

Hey everyone I've been attending a summer class on web design at a local college and have to submit my website tomorrow which is my final project. As such, I thought I'd ask here for any suggestions as far as visual improvements are concerned. See it here: http://www.artofmindstormer.com Considering I knew basically nothing about web design just over a month ago, I feel I've learnt a fair amount so far, but I certainly intend to learn more so any general critique is welcome as well, even if I only incorporate other improvements later on. you know how you have a starfield background on the button of whatever page you are currently visiting (like if your on the feeatured page, the featured button has a starfield background instead of the normal blue one). I think that the starfield should be just for the space page, and the background for each button reflects what that page is about, like you could have something from frozen time or sunset mountains as the background of the scenic button when you're on the scenic page. just a suggestion.

Some of them are really nice Eric. The site is really nice too. Simple but nice. Would you mind to send me a bigger image of that snowy landscape with the planet on the left top? :P I'd love to use that as a my comp's background~ EDIT: Nevermind, found the link to your DeviantART and found it on there. ^^ It's by far your best work.

Looks pretty good. You can tell you already had experience in graphic design. I don't see anything strikingly unfitting or that should be changed.

Yeah, that was my original intent, but they didn't fit the theme of the banner and such, though I may give it another try, but I'd probably have several banners. ~~~~ iLethys : Some of them are really nice Eric. i really like how u can see ur growth from older pictures to newer ones. for example (no offense) the picture at the very bottom of the scenic section has the moon included in it. from my computer it looks a bit pixelated, but with ur newer pictures everything looks like a picture taken with the newst digital cameras.

Awesome stuff. I tried clicking "About these photos", though, and all that shows up is "Gallery created by Eric Louw". Is that intentional?
