Why is 'random' so popular now?

Seriously, its kind of fun but its getting annoying.. Like I was doing a thread at school (online) and it was like "write something so that we will get a record of 100 posts" and so I wrote "epidermis" and then someone was like "what the heck?" and i said "idk i just learned about it in science" and then my friend, Angela (she says she's the queen of randomness..o.o) was like "Ok....?" and she started getting annoyed and mad at me just for being a little random...i dont know why.. o-o anyways, i don't really get why random is so popular now..lol.. please explain? o-o EDIT: nvm :P

Vampriya : I have to agree with this. u_u I agree, too. And when I'm being random, it's usually when I don't care/ I am bored/ I want to start some conversation with people. Sometimes it takes some sort of humor/annoyances to get people talking. :D

You gotta learn how to be random-ish. Just going around and saying a stupid word like 'curtains' isn't ganna take no no were. Using better words like 'poop' 'meaw' 'rawr' 'potatoes' are better. :D Edit: you also got to know how to use them.
