wait, so people actually manually check their posts every other second to check if they got replies to their post? wtf? i mean, basilmarket already has really advanced features so something like email notification would be really simple to incorporate...

Yes, people check every sec, that's what I'm doing right now. They don't have that feature, but it would be a good suggestion.
