Shadower vs Paladin

Okay well after seeing that Thunder Breakers are out and all maybe it's time to make one instead of an Actual Brawler but anyways. When I plan on starting my new class it is between a Shadower and a Paladin. I have made the Shadower vs Bucc vs Paladin thread before and now when I look at other options it seems like Bucc isn't getting too popular anymore. Anyways I like all three of them but I'd like to make a Thunder Breaker before actually moving on to a Brawler if I do. I have a Page, level 58. Great class, I love it and especially because it can mob. I love mob classes. I love elemental charges as well as Holy Hammer. But one thing that I'm focused on is that this class should be able to fight some bosses with little HP washing in case I want to HT but bossing isn't my only thing. I want training to be pretty easy in which this case both of these classes excel in but apparently the Shadower does better. Shadowers are another of my favorite class because of Assassinate and now 1 sec BStep they also don't have to HP wash too because of their avoidability. For bossing I'm not so sure how they will do but I hear they can solo pretty well. If I want to make one I don't know which I would choose. I like them both oh so greatly. Which can excel in Bossing? DPM? Which can level the fastest to third and fourth job? Which doesn't cost a whole lot to make it good? Thanks! EDIT: What if I doubt I will make it to fourth job. Some say CB are better because of their fast bomb training.

Oh, when I meant bossing I meant like solo bossing. Mini bosses I guess. But I understand because I put HT and stuff as well. So Party too =/

Also, I don't really think being in Dark Sight, dropping an assload of meso and then exploding it counts as doing anything at all. You're sacrificing a good deal of money for damage, so what? It'd be better spent buying leech. Paladin for the last 3. *Also I don't know who the hell told you Shadowers are better at training. Paladin with maxed ACB and training build is going to wipe the floor with most - in training speed and cost. Not to mention BW pages are incredibly easy to fund. You won't ever really have to worry about a weapon. They're cheap. They're abundant. Knock yourself out 30%ing Morning Stars with very little loss and a great end result.

I'd be nice to actually get a shadower in here and give his/her take, seeing as I'm more Warrior/Mage oriented. Thieves and Bowmen aren't my cup of tea.

Shadowers can be better at training, but good control is needed to pull it off. Pallys are relatively easy to control, and as stated before, can access godly equips rather cheaply. They also have the elemental advantages, which makes training at certain areas easier.

So it's obvious Paladins DPM is way better than Shadowers? The last time I checked the DPM chart Shadowers were better.

The reason why Shadowers train faster than paladins is because of a move called taunt which gives 40% at maxed more exp and drop rate. Venom helps training which just increases our speed of killing. Boomerang step is a semi range move which makes us need less time to walk over to a mob and create mobs. Paladins will excel at bossing killing faster than us. Chief bandits level faster since Band of thieves is a better mob skill overall then slash blast. But Paladins have a cheaper time and less costly than us to be godly.

So it's a matter of being godly versus faster training and being for versatile. Seems like a pretty tough pick.
