Well, Ima try to make the Reverse spear starting Thursday maybe. Ima be hunting for the items, not buying. Got any tips or advice for me? Or any other helpful information? ;D

you're gonna be hunting for almost a week. those time peices aern't very drop-friendly. not to mention the thousands of etc you need to forge the monster crystals, folloewd by luck and chance when you make the power crystals and wahtever else you wish to use with the spear.

aside from that, pick a map you kill quickly in. usually ppl stick with maps that drop masks as well as a bonus, incase you got friends who particiapte in pb. well, pending pb runs, seeing what happened to windia's squad >.< or pick a map you feel is good for exp as well. 4x drop has yielded my friend between 8-10 peices in four hours along with a handful of masks, so its not too bad at all. decide early what gems you want to use for the secondary stats for the spear and start looking for the crystals early as well. depending on your luck, it might take a long while to achieve those advanced gems if thats what you're after.

I used str, dex, and a diamond with mine, since I had an adv dex but only int garnets. Then again, I had had a pretty good-sized stockpile to refine with, so I was lucky in that way. And I searched for those pieces for a month o_o But then I wasn't on 4x drop all the time. I'd go on 5 hour streaks not finding one -_-

Those Pieces are such a nuisance to gather, it'll take at least a good week to gather SOME pieces of time. I got the everyday 2x drop from 1-5pm from nexon for whatever reason, I've been going at it everyday with family 2x and you'll get in between 4-6 for those 4 hours. I was hunting at Regret 3 with my gf (she's planning on making shoes), the exp is nice, the spawn is nice, but for your level good luck. Guardians are the way to go, those monks are just useless. Also, dodos also drop a decent amount of pieces of time, but it might be hard to kill at your level. Good luck hunting =] The monster etc gathers quickly. I had less of a problem with that, or anything else in the matter, it's just those pieces of time! ><

Personally, I'm fond of Oblivion Monks/Trainees - I'd prefer Guardians, of course, but I don't 2hko those often enough, nor do I have enough accuracy, to go after them reliably. I'm a couple points of accuracy shy of what I need there. That being said, the time piece accumulation is slower because I go there for exp as well as time pieces.. On a four hour run of 2x exp/2x drop, I usually garner 4-8 pieces of time, and a little over 20%. At level 160, that isn't bad. I'm 8 pieces away from making my own spear right now... and then I'm going to finish off my Cygnus Knight, and take Naughty to Crimson Guardians. I should 2hko there, the spawn is tighter so I should get higher exp, and they'll give me the power crystal ores I need. I've already got a supply of advanced diamonds/garnets. Be patient with the time pieces drops, they are even rarer than chaos scrolls I think. I got as far as captain regret thingies before even finding one measly time piece (that's about 8000 kills to find one piece)... And yeah, as Chicken said, start getting your strenghtening gems/crystals early. The advanced diamond should be bought, as they're found for only 5-7mil, while you should hunt for your own power crystals/ores if you plan on using an intermediate/advanced one, as those are near impossible to find in fm (and if you do, they're WAY too expensive). The monster crystals are easy to make, just collect the etc. drops as you go along, and disasseble them once in a while. It's also moderate exp, along with some mask/powder drops that could net you some neat mesos if you're lucky. Once again, the time pieces drops are so /#%�//# ANNOYING. 1 piece in like... 8-9 hours of grinding at TT. It's almost not worth it.

xD Dodo isn't that hard to kill. Takes around 5-10 minutes without berserk. And do you think Memory Lane 5 is a good map? Lots of Guardians and Dodo spawns :D

zgtaf : 1 piece in like... 8-9 hours of grinding at TT. It's almost not worth it. It's all luck, lol. In the first 6 quests (4 green 2 blue) I found 8 pieces of time. Then I didn't find any for the next 5 (2 blue 3 red). Since then I've hunted Oblivion Monk Trainees and got 3 more in a little less than 3 hours (~2000 kills). 11/15 for my shoe, which is the most obvious upgrade, then I'll try to make a weapon.

Pieces of time are definitely tradeable, and I've heard quotes anywhere from 7m-15m in Bera. Probably closer to the lower end of that now, i'd expect to pay 7-10.
