It's acceptable I guess. Basically a generic laptop for it's price.

azn011It's your typical mainstream generic laptop, like LWP said. It does have quite a long battery life, and it's quite light compared to other laptops in that range. And it also has a great price tag, most laptops of that caliber come in at over $700.

knowncleric1I made a thread like this a few days ago, but I am ready to make my purchase tomorrow. Out of all 3 of these, which one would you say is the best? HP Pavilion dv6-1230 HP Pavilion 1245 Asus U81

azn011In terms of performance, they are all the EXACT same. And essentially, the first two laptops are the EXACT same in every way possible as well. To break it down into categories... Battery Life: Asus (7hr18min) > HP (5 hours 15 min) Weight : Asus (4.7lbs) > HP (6.3lbs) Screen Size : Asus (14") ~ HP (16") Thickness : Asus (1.3") > HP (1.6") Style : HP (awesome design and lights o-o) > Asus (plain D;) So, in terms of portability and battery life, the Asus wins by a fair margin. It also has a smaller screen. But...it looks very boring and plain =S The HP on the other hand, still does pretty well in terms of portability and battery life, but it cannot compare to the Asus. However, it has a larger screen, and most importantly looks cooler =D Personally, I'd go for the HP because I don't really need something that's super portable. And mostly because it looks better xD
