Wind Archer Fail?

So I was psyched to make my Wind Archer and level it up to get all those awesome 3rd job skills. I believe I made two mistakes though and I want to know if I completely messed up because I think I did. At first I started my WA as a normal build. Adding 1 STR, 4 DEX. Then my first mistake came when I decided to cap my STR at 30 and just crank DEX for the rest of the way. I only realized this was a huge mistake when I reached about level 53, and I was browsing through the threads on Basil. Someone commented on one and said, that an individual should, get all these equips (I don't remember specifics) and then look for a Blue Kinsmet at level 50. Then I started to think, how can he wear a Kinsmet if he's STRless? Then I checked the stats needed to wear it and it turns out, you don't freakin' need any STR to wear any of the bowman overalls. (Well, most I think, I didn't check all) Now I realized that I now have 30 wasted STR when I could have my current DEX +30 more. 30 is alot and I think this would make a BIG difference in my damage. Thinking I could solve this I looked in CS for the AP reset, but its like 3.1k to reset one point. No thanks, I work hard for my fast food money. So, did I completely F up? Or should I continue. (I hope this thing goes through this time >.>) EDIT I'm level 65 now BTW

Why don't you just raise your STR to wear higher level bows?

So you put STR thinking you needed it to wear overalls and now you want to start over because you found out the overalls don't have a STR requirement? Well you could start over and go STRless or you can just keep going and try to gather enough STR for high leveled bows.

You don't need str to wear bowmen armor? O.O OT: You should continue because you still need str to wear high level bows =) And at those levels, 1 att = quite a few dex =D

You could get the red kismet for str and go low str

Well, its not the bows necessarily. I started raising my STR, then I changed my mind and wanted to crank DEX, therefore, Low STR. I was planning on getting a DEX sauna then I realized that bowman overalls (better WEP DEF) require 0 STR. So I realized that I had wasted 30 STR on what could've been added to my DEX. For weapons, since tube is getting weak. My plan was, Kandiva Bow or Bow of Magical Destruction next. Then I don't know what no STR bows are after that, if there are any. I guess raising STR to get higher lvl bows would be good though, that's alot of STR to catch up on though :S is it worth it?

Bow of Magical Destruction is the last bow with no STR requirement. I think it's worth it to raise your STR to get a better bow.

Catching up? You're only behind by like 4 levels worth of ap going into STR lol. That's not much. Think of it this way... You're adding DEX early to have highest possible damage and putting in the STR later when you need it not now when you don't. Since you already plan on getting STRless bows just leave it alone. When you want to switch to a arund, metus, or whatever start buying STR equips and adding STR points where needed. You can get 15 from a zhelm, 8+ from a cape (more if a yac), 2-4 from shoes (make them and add in STR gems), scroll a top/bottom set for STR/DEX, deputy star, and other crap I can't remember. You can probably scramble together enough to wear a arund at the least. Plus if you somehow get a HT necklace you can get enough to wear the reverse bow or something lol.

I think you should just stay low dex and get like an arund as an end game weapon. You zhelm and deputy star to help you equip it.
