Should I max Slow or Fire Arrow? : And would Elemental Reset help me in CPQ? (I'm going to be CPQing till level 51) Or should I just max Fire Pillar first. Thanks.

Camdon : Eh... dont listen to these people... At level 30, with 1 point in fire pillar, you will get about 200-300 damage per hit on retz. You can gain 30% per 10 minutes there til 36ish. Around 36-37 you can actually STD. I went 37-51 at STD in about 6-7 hours of 2X, with no scrolled equips at all, just a 2 int black dana and a 64 matk llama staff (it has 5 slots left :P). it is nuts exp. Youll level like once an hour at STDs with 1X EXP. Your post has nothing to do with his question.

They both suck, but since Fire Strike is Fire Arrow X 6 max slow. Done.

Are robos weak to fire? doesn't that mean its better to do reset, then slow? Also, i think slow is better than fire arrow, but if u want fire arrow, and if ur getting a mount, dont bother maxing teleport. I put only 1 into teleport, so i can use a mount for travelling instead. Then ill max slow, and some on fire arrow

Ok, well if you want my opinion, you should max slow and keep 1 in fire arrow. Why? This is because in the 3rd job, Fire strike replaces fire arrow all the way. So there really is no point to have fire arrow maxed. Do slow.

godzillaman : But I'm so weak hitting Robos without Ele reset. : CPQ is not the way to 51. Go grind on MP3.

My build to my blaze wiz for CPQ. Level 30 (1) Fire Pillar; Level 31-37 (20) Element Reset (2) Fire Pillar; Level 38-43 (20) Element Reset (20) Fire Pillar. After that you can do Tele, Medi or Booster. I used this build for a lukless BW using a 62 m.att tube and I can solo room 4 with 900(+) and 3 with 500(+). Also the early you get Reset the better damage you can do to robos. Ex. Lev 37 BW (no Element Reset) = 100~180 dmg to robo (lukless), Lev 37 BW (with Element Reset) = 360- 450 dmg to robo (lukless). *Number shown is the individual dmg from one magic claw dmg and not both claw added, double the amount for a normal claw hit.* PS: Please don't say that not maxing fire pillar means you fail, I had a hard time in CPQ because everyone thought I sucked like people who max Fire Pillar instead of Element Reset. PSS: Why max Element Reset? When you do 3 vs 3 in CPQ, you either have a sin/NW/dit, Warrior/DW, Brawler/TB, or a godly archer/CB/WA and they would most likely take rombots. So if you can't kill robo in 3-4 hits then people won't want you in party. Unless you think you can kill rombots faster than those classes listed, I suggest you max element reset.

Max Pillar does almost the same damage as 1 Pillar on Fire-res monsters with max Ele Reset. So someone with maxed Pillar will be doing the same damage as you at level 37 to Robos, and double to everything else. Reset first is retarded. It's not like CPQ is that good for EXP anyway when you have Pillar.
