Ok I was wondering how the karma scissors work. I know that they make items tradable, but do you just keep the item once you do it or do you have to send the item to the person that your trading with. If its the first answer then I got scammed.....

When you Karma an item that can be karmaed, they'll stay in your inventory, it will have a little message on it saying "One trade is permitted by this user with this item.". Then you trade it, then the message is gone.

You buy the karma scissors and then use them on a "karma-able" item. It'll say what items of yours it can be used on in the description. Once you use them, the item stays in your inventory and you can still use it i believe. You can even put it in a FM store. Once the item has been sold in a trade or an FM shop, then the person who bought it from you can no longer trade it. There is no time limit to when you sell it. EDIT: Also, if you buy a karma'd item, you CANNOT use another pair of karma scissors to trade it to someone else. Just in case you didnt know. What some people do is when trading, the buyer will "gift" the scissors to the seller, who will use it on their item and then sell it to you. This is usually to decrease the cost of the item because you are providing the 3k NX to trade it and not them. This, however, is risky because once you gift the scissors, the seller can just scam you and sell it to someone else. I would just pay the extra mesos and have them buy the scissors, so you wont get scammed.

Well what happened was that I was selling a taru totem, and the guy didn`t have any mesos just items. And he said that he would trade his zhelm and a pac for it. But he said that the helm was untradable so he was going to buy karma scissors and trade me. But he said that to use the scissors you had to gift the item you did it on, and he said that i would get it in the mail. Before this I did`nt even know they excited....... So I traded the totem for the pac and didn`t get the zhelm.......

that sucked that you got scammed. Im not sure how much a taru totem is worth exactly, but an offer of a PAC and a Zhelm seems way to high... i would have been very skeptical.
