So, I recently wanted to make a video of me in MapleStory (MMV), but I really want to have it in HD and not just HQ. The point is, Im completely new to Fraps, and I do not know wether I can put it up on YouTube in HD if it was recorded in Halfsize. NOTE:: I also want to make a Combat Arms montage in HD. Same situation. Is it possible in HD if recorded in Halfsize ? If so :3 Please explain me (: Thanks in advance. EDIT:: This is kind of a Tech question, so I didn't think it would fit in the General section. Correct me if im wrong Dx

You could always test it by filming 2 seperate 10 seconds, upload them onto youtube as private videos so other except your friends cant see it and get whichever one is in HD

LOL okays . (: Just a sec , needa open my Vegas to get the specs . LOL . Okay , steps ; *try to do these BEFORE editing your video , as it`s WIDESCREEN HD , so it`ll make your video look different if you cropped before changing the settings. 1.) Open your project . Click File>properties . 2.) When the box pops up , make the width 640 and the height 360 . So that was the settings of your PROJECT . Now , when you render the video , you need to set rendering settings . 3.) Click render . When the box pops up asking you where/what to save it as , click CUSTOM , which is next to TEMPLATE . 4.) Make sure the video rendering quality is set to BEST . 5.) Click the VIDEO tab . The mode should be CBR , the format Windows Media Video 9 . The image size should be High Definition (1280x720) . 6.) Make sure the pixel aspect ratio is 1.000 (square) . 7.) For Video Smoothness (Might say Quality instead) , slide the slider all the way to 100 . (: 8.) To avoid having to do this ALL OVER AGAIN next time , go to the very top of the box , type in a name for your template such as "Youtube HD" , and save it for next time . :D 9.) SAVE AND RENDER c: Okay , lol , i hope i didn`t lose you there D: BTW , the HD button usually appears 15min ~ 1hour after the video`s uploaded . (:
