1h sword or 2h sword

hey, im asking whats better 2h sword or 1h sword. heres an example: lets say if i have 1h sword that has 105 attk and wearing maple shield that has 5 attk is it = for 110 2h sword? ty :D

Cowsonearth : Wrong section How so? It's about Maplestory, and it's not about any specific class or region. It fits here. OT: Probably the 1H sword because of the speed difference, plus the weapon defence from the shield. The only bad part is the reach of the 1H sword isn't as big as the reach of the 2H.

If you plan to go 1-Handed sword then you'll need a 10+ atk shield so that it may equal out to the same damage range towards using a 2-Handed sword.

you need a 110 atk 1h sword + 10 atk+ shield to go beyond the 110 atk 2h

From 1st to 3rd job, it's probably better to go 2h, since you want the extra reach, but at 4th, 1h is substantially better because brandish grants the same range for both 1h and 2h
