Could you tell me how to level my maker skill?

you mean form 1-2 and 2-3? it has to do with what lvl you are. i think (not exactly but somewhere around here) 45- lvl 1 70- lvl 2 120- lvl 3

Alright, this is how it's done After you get the Maker skill, return to Moren at level 75 and accept his quest, go to Homunculus(It's the closest and easiest) and collect 100 of their drops, then use those drops to make one Monster Crystal. Give the Monster Crystal to Moren, he may not accept the first one, in which case you have to go and get another. After he accepts it, you receive the level 2 maker skill. For the level 3 Maker skill, return to Moren at level 105, talk to the little "Finished Quest" Bubble that's beside him, not actually him, and gain a piece of paper. Talk to Moren and he'll mumble some stuff, Then get 6 Gold Plates, 2 Steel Plates, and one Refined Lidium. Go into the "ETC." option for the Maker skill, choose to create the Golden Anvil, create it and return to Moren, hand it to him and you'll receive the level 3 Maker skill.
