Very bad loot speed

Im in Demethos, and the servers arnt packed, only channel 1 is, but in any channel i lag. I didnt used to get lag, but my loot speed was about 2-3 items a second, now im getting 1 item every second or even 2 seconds. Nexon just dont let people far away from their 'HQ' get good speed. With a speedtest, i get upto 12mb/s. So it is the server end. Thanks for any help!

um nope my computer has about 15mb download speed and 4gb of ram and I dont lag in any server except for ch 1 scania fm no where else even in demethos I have never lagged maybe clean ur computer?

Lagging on 2 week old pc(Self built for games) and a 1 month old pc. Is it worth checking to see if its wireless? Btw, im from Australia

He is experience connection lag, so I don't know why you even mentioned the RAM... zapphello : Lagging on 2 week old pc(Self built for games) and a 1 month old pc. Is it worth checking to see if its wireless? Btw, im from Australia I believe your problem is because where you live... To make it simple, when you loot, you are sending a packet to the server saying you are going to loot. Then the server will sent one back to give you the ok to loot. You just located VERY far away from their server.

yeah, im from Australia also, its pathetic looting speeds. if doesnt matter if your not lagging at all, when it comes to looting, it'll always be slow/er compared to other countries

Im in the US with atrociously terrible loot speed like 1 item every 2-3 seconds and its because of my isp. I have to have satellite intenet connection because I live in a rural area.

I live in Europe, and I haven't got fast looting speed either... At bosses I can't pick up much, just cuz of I'm too slow. Dunno if it's me, but I think it's becuz I'm that far away from the server.

yeah im from australia, loot lag is due to high latency caused because we are far from their servers.

Nexon HQ is in California so your loot speed depends on where you live heavily. I learned in my physics class that tv signals transport at the speed of light and if you are in the usa it shouldn't matter as much but if you were outside it would slow you down a bit more. So basically the father away u live from California the slower you loot speed.

Farther you are, the longer it takes, but the faster your internet speed+distance can make up for that, BUT you still won't have the fastest drop pick up ever unless you move closer. D: (sorry i didn't even bother to read the post lol)
