| So after i get to 120 on my dawn warrior, if im still around i want to make a mage since i never really played one before. I like fire/poison with the misting and i think explosion looks cool, but ice/lightning can freeze and is faster. I'm wondering which one i should get? No clerics because healing is a pain in the buttocks, So please vote and state why F/P or I/L is better. Thank you :D |

| bellobox : 2nd job : i/l > f/p Wrong. At level 30 ~ 55 they all level at the same speed. At 55 ~ 75 F/P outlevels.
3rd job : f/p > i/l
Depends what we're comparing.
4th job : i/l > f/p Lmao
False, again. You only need to freeze 1 Newt, which EQ does better than Blizzard. Then, at Skeles, people forget they have to charge their Laser before hitting you. By the time you caster Meteo twice, they didn't cast their laser and shot you, making it pretty much the same. Unless there's a mob which wasn't hit on the 2nd Meteo, which, really, how many times does that happen? |

| Ice Lightnings level rather slower than Fire Poisons around 7x-8x and above. The reason ? Misting. F/P can mist high level monsters at a lower level, thus allowing them to train faster. I had a friend, yes a friend(I know there are some doubts in this statement), that leveled from 75-120 within a week. She played a few hours a day, I'd say around 4-5. And then bam, she was level 120. Especially with the Mini-Dungeon, you could mist skeles without having anybody KS you. |

| It's funny how all noobs on basil lirk around saying one class is better then the other when they're basically the same. Ignorant fools. |

| InvisoBill : IF they release stronger monsters, which they have already started to do (time temple) then that might change to this: 2nd job : i/l > f/p 3rd job : f/p > i/l 4th job :f/p > i/l With fire/poison mages, it's all about misting stronger and stronger monsters that normally take lots of hits to kill. HOWEVER, in fourth job the strong monsters all become one/two hittable so poisoning and waiting becomes useless but if the monsters get STRONGER, we'll get the advantage again. That's why for now we get meteos because a poison version of meteos, while an awesome upgrade of poison mist just like that was an upgrade of poison breath, would be useless. (Like WTF... no poison in 4th job :S? ) Actually, in 4th job it's pretty much the same. Both classes can 1hko skeles by the same time with their respectives ultimates. Therefore, there is no significant difference between the classes. |

Yes, in 4th job everyone 1hits skeles but WHEN they release stronger monsters that are STILL for fourth job (Time Temple) not everyone will be able to 1hit them so f/ps can start poisoning again. |

| InvisoBill : *slaps head* Didnt I JUST describe that... No, you didn't. The ">" sign does not stand for equalty. InvisoBill : Yes, in 4th job everyone 1hits skeles but WHEN they release stronger monsters that are STILL for fourth job (Time Temple) not everyone will be able to 1hit them so f/ps can start poisoning again. Since you consider poisioning a better training method 'cause we can't 1hko, I can say that I/Ls would still stick with blizzard, since it freezes, which is a good advantage over monsters that can't be 1hko'ed. Since blizzard kills faster than poision, the spawn would also be faster for I/Ls, which would characterize a faster training. However, this situation will not happen. F/Ps will NOT choose poision over meteor shower. Regardless of the situation, ultimates will be the best training skill for both classes, which determines an equalty between them; I reaffirm. 4th job: I/L = F/P. |

| Choose the one you like... We don't know what you'd enjoy playing. It seems like you'd prefer an I/L, and you'd only make an F/P because "they level faster". In the end it's all the same so please don't make a choice based on something as trivial as that. Make whatever you find appealing. |
