Why do you guys get embarassed when buying nx from stores

like i've heard people say that when they buy nx, they'll usually lie or say its for their little brother or sister? lol i'm a non nx user is this true?

because alot of us have reputation and social lives, but find maplestory pretty fun as well but we know it's a game for 10 year olds

well.. ms is all cutesy and girly in pretty much every way and for someone who doesnt play it themselves, they'll probably think the game is lame etc. etc. thus some guys dont wanna buy nx in public since they dont want anyone to know they play maple.. personally I dont give a rats *** about what people think. not that they even sell nx where I live.. idk.. just my view on it..

It is because of the pre-conceived notion of what they see first glance of Maplestory. The characters are short and chibi. Cutesy and girly. I wouldn't be surprised if you would get picked on in school just for playing Maple Story.
