As the title says, I've been wondering. Which is stronger? Triple Throw lv1 OR Lucky Seven lv20? I've tested this out at Windraiders and i've found that I one hit KO them more with Triple throw lv1 than with Lucky Seven. Anyone have any ideas or input? Thanks.

Lucky Seven level 20: Level 20: MP -16; Damage 150% x 2 Hits = 300% damage. Triple throw level 1: MP -11, Damage 102% x 3 Hits = 306% damage. I'd assume triple throw is slightly more powerful and less mp consuming, but uses more stars. Your call.

I forget the math but I've seen it done countless times and TT1 is more powerful

Well, with the TT, even though it's 6% higher, wouldn't the def applying 3 times sometimes weaken it more than L7 which calculates it twice?

billyang : Well, with the TT, even though it's 6% higher, wouldn't the def applying 3 times sometimes weaken it more than L7 which calculates it twice? That being true. You have another chance to get a crit, which increases the damage way more ALSO you must consider shadow partner, so TT lvl 1 actually gives 2 more attacks :P

well, with sp, for L7 it's 400%. With TT 1, it's 456%. With sp, tt1 would be obviously stronger.

L7=300% TT1=306% with sp L7= 540% TT1= 544% Now, TT is obvliously better from the numbers, even with crit on but L7's highier probablility to KB a creature is highier. Also, Since L7 is stronger per hit, it can easily "hit through" a monster's defence.

I'm pretty sure that a lower percentage damage that a skill has means it will be more greatly affected by crit. This is because crit doesn't simply double the damage, but works in some other way (not really sure how)

This is because crit doesn't simply double the damage, but works in some other way (not really sure how) Crit simply add 100% damage (So add your damage range to your TT/L7 damage) at a 50% rate. Therefor Avg Crit = 100% * 50% = 50% extra Damage |

L7's average damage without SP is 400%. (150% + 50%(average damage added by critical))*2(2 hits) = 400%. TT's average damage without SP is 486%. (102% + 50%)*3 = 486%
