What the hell is up with Maple?

Ever since the new patch, there are times where I can barely play. I doubt it's because of my computer, nor my internet, because both are high quality and it never happened before the patch. Every time I log on a character, no matter which one it is, my char doesn't see the NPC's, or the people on the map. It also doesn't have a guild, and no buddies either. Normal lag, right? Happened to me every few days before the patch, and it sorted out. But now, EVERYTIME I log on, it takes it around 2 minutes to just load the buddylist, and then I lag so much I have to relog. If I let it load for a few minutes and then come back, moving will probably dc me too. I understand that the servers are becoming more busy and I should experience more lag, but this is outrageous. What's the point of playing a game where I can't even move without D/Cing? >.> I was planning on leeching my outlaw today, and hopefully making it to corsair. But guess what? I won't, because I can't even log in, and I doubt I could use a skill and make it through without D/Cing. Is there ANY way to fix it? ._. Thanks in advance.

everything is laggy i think maybe more players are playing or ur world is laggy i sorta blame CK...

Thanks Xynth, i'm reinstalling atm though. Hopefully it'll solve it :/ @ w0wurfacexD, my computer's pretty good and I doubt it's because of it. Might be because of the ping but it still doesn't justify the fact that I can barely log in.

It's a networking issue. Try doing run > cmd>ping www.maplestory.nexon.net Also, you can do a speedtest on www.speedtest.net and tell us your results.

1. Never log on on channel 1 2. Maplestory should be the only application running on your computer. 3. Turn down the graphics. 4. Turn of Screen- Shake 5. Run Maplestory as a priority application.

Somewhat of the same thing happened to me... I have a computer wayy over qualified to play maplestory and a internet connection that stable. Right after I did the Elnath PQ for dragon breath, I d/ced. When I log in everything seems normal for about 2 minutes then some odd lag starts. I can talk and move around, but can't go into portals, attack or buff. Only AFTER I d/c my friends hear me talk. And they weren't even in the same map and could see my white text. I reinstalled my modem drivers, reset my router, practically did everything and nothing worked. I ended up reinstalling maple and it worked... I guess some files got corrupted. Try reinstalling maple.

it used to happen to me in yellonde, when my interent coneection used to suck. i think for u its cuz of the lag

Get a new internet
