Fire Gear Vs Poison Fog

I am not quite sure how this skill works exactly? I heard its like Poison Fog But im not quite sure whats going. I use it and sometimes it does like 1k dmg then all the monsters take like 90 dmg of fire... How exactly does it work and should it be used? And should a lvl 73 Blaze Wiz really go to blue kentaurs with it? Is it based on Max HP value or something?

It works like poison but, you're able to poison himes and stuff

Thats not fair poisoning himes :P But yeah, you do this weak hit to monsters, and when the monsters go inside the fire thing they get burned I guess, and the fire does a % of damage to them based on the skill level and monster's HP.
