Assassins most untrustworthy? - BasilMarket Forum

So yeah just enjoying MS in cpq and in less than 1 hour i got scammed twice by sins in TW. One left after i gave them the win, the other did the typical expel after entering rm 5/6 with 3 ppl. I know not ALL sins are pricks and jerks but seems like most SINS have a real issue......for a class that's supposedly high dmg, they are also the most cowardly. I never thought I'd say this but even CYGs are even nicer than SINS. The most honest and sincere ppl i've met are usually bowmen, fighters/pages, and mages/clerics. What's your experience?

Every class has idiots and jerks in them; its just that the assassin class is highly populated, so there's a higher chance that you find a stupid person playing a sin more than the other classes.

Sobadude has a great point since the population of sins is more you have a better chance of find a stupid person playing a sin.It is mainly the person playing it not the class.

It's the person, not the class. In my case i have never been ksed by a sin and havent ks'ed myself either.

I disagree. Yes there are untrustworthy jerks in every class but there are more in the SINS class per person, not based on total number of ppl. I've never been scammed once yet by someone that was NOT a SIN. You can't tell me that was purely by luck or chance. There was one SIN was really cool and nice...his name was iPierced and he helped me a lot in the beginning but since him, it's been nothing but jerks. I found that female sins are actually quite the opposite. Very friendly and honest.

It's the person, not the class. It's also because of the larger population in that class that changes the nice to rude ration... plus who the class may or may not appeal to (Narutards anyone?).

You are stereotyping a whole class,maybe you are a jerk yourself and piss them off wich causes them to be an asshole to you. And since you are probably a teen with raging hormones you act nice to the girls wich makes them act nice to you. BTW nowadays any high level guy in CPQ is a jerk who kicks people. There are just VERY much assasins compared to other classes thats why it seems to people that sins are jerks. Another thing is that assasin looks cool to alot of kids who are interested in things like:Naruto and ninja's, And you know kid are childish(hence the kids). Point of this: Rate the person not the class.

well I think that pages/whiteknight/paladins are all nice cause they have to be patient just to be white knight/ paladins. but... it does make sense that there are more assassin/hermits/nightlords in maplestory than any other chance and the possibility of getting scammed by one is higher JUST because of the population not that characteristic of the job. So you're premise is that you would say there are more Chinese criminals simply because their are more of them? If you look at criminals per 100,000 ppl, you would see a much different story. Translate that to MS and per 100,000 sins there's definitely a higher rate of scammers/jerks than in any other class regardless of how many TOTAL number their are. For those of you who don't understand what i just said here's an elementary example: 5 out of 10 sins = negative ppl, therefore out of 100 sins it would be 50 negative ppl 1 out of 10 archers = negative ppl, therefore out of 100 archers it would be 10 negative ppl. So yes there's more sins than any other class but per 10, i'm saying they still have a much higher rate of incidence. It's just something i noticed as im playing and i bet you a lot of ppl out there (other than the good sins who will obviously be biased) will relate how most of their negative experiences came from sin players. Just a word of warning.... with sins, guilty until proven innocent. With every other class, innocent until proven guilty. Be cautious with them.

Be cautious with them." well if thats the case then its 1 out of 10 sins and 1 out of 10 archers cause thats a ratio scammers are not discriminatory by class.
