So my mom is married to my step-dad. My stepdad has this Vietnam family who just came over and their little fat son wanted a DSi ever since he saw mines. The boy kept on begging his parents to let him have a DSi and his parents asked my mom if the boy can have my DSi and buy this acekard so he can get games on it. So my mom asked me, and I said I don't care about him why do I have to give him my DSi that I paid with my own money and this $50 ds chip for him. My mom lectured me about them being poor and they should get something for their son to be happy, then I said its not my fault their poor and that I used my money to buy the DSi. She started to yell at me saying that I was so selfish that I would probably walk on by if I saw someone get hit by a car. I told her that was irrelevant and thats a whole nother story and all of a sudden she grounds me for a month? I can't use the computer, DSi, PSP, basically anything electronic and even my phone. So here I am at my friends house typing this up, so Basil, do you think I was being selfish in anyway which I highly doubt.

That's not selfish, that's being defensive of your property. You show 'em.

Defend your private property. If John Locke could see this he would be weeping...

Well, can't you just let him play sometimes when he wants instead of letting him have it?

Peekachuu said: "Well, can't you just let him play sometimes when he wants instead of letting him have it?" He literally wants it. I don't even know the kid at all, I knew him for like what, one day?

The fact that you didn't want to give your DSi wasn't selfish IMO but you shouldn't have to that thing about them being poor. and if you're grounded, how can you be at your friends house? O.o

No. It's your damn DSi. Their parents can get him one when they have the money.

wth, that's not selfish. go ask her if you can have her tv/phone because you don't have enough money to buy one. your mom is a big jerk and you should punch her in the face right now

That's not selfish. Since you said you paid for it yourself, you worked for that money. And as for asking YOU to buy an acekard for HIM, that's just overkill. It's yours, you can do what you want with it - like keep it.

Hmm, Im guessing right after you got grounded, you went on the Internet and typed this :D. Lmao On topic: Tell yo momma to slow her roles, she can't tell you to give up what you own. Nonetheless, the things you bought with your own money. Like Mudkip said, YOU SHOW 'em!

Nah not really. I would do the same for you unless my mom was yelling at me/they were poor.

I completely agree with you on the someone getting hit by a car irrelevant and another story. Sad to say, but your mom is a female dog. =(
