| >>>Latest Version<<< WITH HOTLINKS! Big thanks to PointedLaser for helping to refine this guide, add information to it, and make it look as clean as possible Please keep this going, hopefully it will eventually get a sticky! Kevvl has asked me to say that all referenced (i.e. quoted) material was used with the permission of the original author. Thank you. Please keep this thread going, that is, if you want those I need help with Zakum Quests threads to stop. Why am I bothering to make such a thread? Because me, and the other Basilmarket users, are all sick of having to constantly answer to people needing Zakum help, especially when all the information in this thread can be easily found with Google Table of Contents 1. Introduction 1.1 Zakum Monster Description 2. Buying a helm 2.1 Scams 3. Quests 3.1 Instructions to start Quests 3.2 Quest 1 3.3 Quest 2 (jump quest) 3.4 Quest 3 4. If you are a buyer, (and I will discuss that later) then you stand a chance to get this Zakum Helm . If you are selling (killing/healing/buffing/etc) then you will be paid to kill it. (Obviously you don't need to read this as you are a seller) Thirdly, there is Zakum Leech, which through PG mule or another (likely illegitimate method) get experience from the arms being killed. *Addition thanks to Clericsking1 Some people may pay to pick up Zakum drops which are some Mastery Books, (some may be untradeable such as TT10) and most of the rest are lvl 80+ Equips. *Note these will be less used as Karma Scissors can be used to buy/sell these Mastery books 1.1 Zakum Zakum Information All Credits to MapleWiki 2. Buying a Zakum Helmet "Reg is when you get sent to the bottom of the waiting list. In some guilds/groups, they give you a certain amount of tries when getting your zhelm. VIP is when you get set to the top of the waiting list. VIP will always loot before a Reg member, regardless of how many runs a Reg buyers had to play. Same as Reg, they can also limit you to an amount of tries. Usually unlimited, though (although, after a certain amount of tries, they may asked you to let a Buyer's player on your account). If you die, D/C, or anything that happens that is your fault, the try will count against you. Note: The definition of the Reg and VIP package may differ between worlds and guilds/groups. For example, if you want to have a Buyer's Player go on your account for you and loot you the helm, you must buy the VIP package. In other world, it's the complete opposite. Also, certain packages can get you other benefits, such as free quest service. So to be 100% sure on what you are buying, it is best if you asked them about their service."
