Question about Soul Blade.

So, can't use it with blunt weapons, this i know. Generally it's supposed to be done with a sword, 1h or 2h. Question is; What else can I use it with? Saw a video of a guy using soul blade with a pink tube equipped, which is a dagger, which leads me to believe it can be done with more than JUST swords. Does this apply to axes, spears, daggers, and swords, or just daggers and swords? I'd get on and test it but as you can see, server maintenance. ��

the pink tube is a godly lvl 30 sword that you can get from a quest only downside is it expires in a week i highly advice getting one

Pink tubes are every kind of weapon. When you complete the quest to get the pink tube, it gives you one specially designed for your job, and as to you, you'll get a 2h sword pink tube, in which you can indeed use Soul blade with. Proof: My brother and every other DW I see uses it.

Pink Tubes aren't always daggers, when you do Chumji's Watermelon quest and turn in the watermelons to Agent W, warriors can receive pink tubes as swords, axes, spears, and any other warrior-based weapon. I'm pretty sure Soul Blade is restricted to only swords.

The pink tube you saw was a 2H Sword or 1h Sword Pink Tube. You get it from the Agent quest where you need 5 Watermelons. There are Pink Tube Claws, Knuckles, etc. Soul Blade only works with swords.

The pink tube isn't just a dagger. Every person that has a pink tube can pick what kind of weapon it is. As for a warrior, they have many choices, bw, axe, spear, pa, and the list goes on. The youtube video you happen to see was a dawn warrior using a pink tube that is a 1 handed or 2 handed sword. Soul Blade doesnt work for any other weapon other than swords 'cuz I tried the others. Spear was the first. ^^

Thanks a ton. Only finished Chumji's quest with my sin, thanks to dark sight. Only ran through it with my warrior twice, did not know the pink tube came in class-specific weapon forms. If that's the case, soon as the server's back up I'll snag one. One last question, bit off topic here. I'm running an unfunded low-dex dawn warrior (bout 3m funding, I'm piss broke here.) I've currently got a base dex of 65, my black dragon robe gives +13 dex (thank you, 35k 100% scrolls! won't sell but oh well.) and the agent shoes give +2, bringin it up to 80 dex. Is that around where I should be? First time runnin a warrior build.

That sounds like a good start. Just so long as you can keep your accuracy high enough to hit whatever you're training on, you should be set.

Swords only. And does the range of Soul Blade increase with a 2h or does it stay the same between 1h and 2h? Never really got to try it out as im just trying to get to 70 to get that one 4 hitting skill :D. Forgot what it was called. Too late to think. Edit: And btw, at probably 90 orso, you're aiming to have a base acc of 129. At least 120 if possible because 130 is pretty much enough w/ sniper pills though you'll see a few misses here and there say at like.. bone fishes.

You should probably cap your dex there. A decently scrolled overall, cape, shoes, and hat can make up the difference pretty quickly. Also, sniper pills are cheap and give an easy 10 accuracy. It's good to remember that 1 dex = 0.8 Acc, so if you can, opt for accuracy over dex where you can (shoes, hat, etc). You're not going to need immense amounts of accuracy for a while anyways, so just leave your dex and pump your strength. It's a lot easier to add points than to remove them.

Range stays the same between 1h and 2h. I still prefer 2h, i like big numbers. :] Dex was capped at 65 a few levels back, the past 3 have been straight pumping strength. So long as my dex is at a level I can work with, that's all I need. Hopefully I'll be able to get some NX soon here and make use of the 85 artifacts i've got (or, some of em anyway) and make enough money to properly fund myself. 100% scrolls are kinda.. yeah. xD

That would be soul driver, and I think the range stays the same. Ishiga, 65 base dex isn't considered low by now, that is high actually. You could be just fine with 60, and still be called regular dex. Low dex would be 30 or so, so 65 base should be just fine, and even more than enough for you.

Roger that. Saw a KMS video of i think it was RankOfSoul, level 120 or so soul master at Gobies with 65 base dex plus a crapton from equips, using his AOE skill to rip em apart, which is where I got the idea for 65 base dex. Still, not very well funded so for being poor, I'd consider my warrior decent.
