Am I ready for Zak?

I've never done it before so I really need to know if my com can handle it. I have vista SP1. 6GB ram. Intel pentium processeur [Dual core]? 2.6 Ghz I use Verizon DSL. I took the speed test for my connection. I saw it on some other thread.. 592 kbps Download speed 131 kps upload speed? I am really not a computer person, so is that good or bad?

Anyone can go on a Zrun, its just that some ppl mite lag. Since u have vista try to change ur screen resolutions throughout the run so u wont D/c

I heard a lot about D/Cing on vista. Is it best I put my resolution on low? I usually have it on the very best. I am afraid of effing this up.

ya i got vista too....dont worry ive been in zakum run a few times....just keep ur graphics on low and every 5-10mins just change it up and down to stop disconnecting

i think u will b fine with 6 gigs of ram...even with vista...lower stress on comp by lower graphics and what not

Oh gawd, I read that. I am going to fail miserably. I can't do the resolution without stopping everything. If i can't do that, can I just keep it on low, would that help? Gah, I hate vista if I D/C.

RAM is mostly for stability to a point not performance. You could go to Zak with 2GB of RAM on Vista and not noticed a difference from having 6GB. Btw, lower your graphics actually puts more stress on the CPU. Doing so would result in higher frames - giving more work for the CPU to tell the GPU what to put onto your screen. Oh, TS. Read my posts on a similar thread like this. It should be a few threads below this one. I'm tired but can't go to sleep... T.T

yes i think ur rdy i mean i hav Vista (Im Sure i do) Anywayz I Go on priavte servers and vs Zakum u wont d/c onyl lag sometimes Just Make sure u not hav msn or internet on and ur fine! just make sure there isn't like 190+ ppl there or ur in troble!
