Reasonable Diamond Price

So I sold all my diamonds before the patch, and forgot maker skill was coming, but anyways... I was wondering what's a reasonable price to buy diamonds for? I've seen some for 1mil, but yea that's kinda high, and I'm not high enough to buy it for that much...
