Pokemon is only for kids

Discuss. My opinion: People only think that Pokemon is for kids because of the anime and its cheesy sayings like 'believe in yourself' and stuff about friendship. Kind of sounds like Yu-Gi-Oh. There's not that much that's kiddish about the games. The games are great, they involve strategy, etc.

I think the "strategy" in the games is kinda taking it too far, at least for my tastes. But to each their own. I still enjoy playing the games from time to time, but the whole repetitiveness of the anime killed it for me after a few seasons.

I'm actually watching some original Pokemon episodes, lol. The early seasons weren't bad, but it got to the point where it's the same stuff over and over.
