Rumor I've read about the Maker skill

I was reading somewhere, that the ? option is there so if you know another class's recipe you could just stick the ingredients in the window and create another class's weapon/armor. Has anyone heard this or have even done this yet? ~Syn

There is a ? option to make items that are not of your class. You have to know the recipe though to make stuff.

The reason i haven't tried it is because they all require powders, and i wouldn't want to waste it unless my K.O.C. could make any use of it

The only problem with that rumor... is several items from different classes share formulas. How would you specify which class you wanted to use the formula for?

Hm... if this is true, I must give it a try. My CK is full of all sorts of powders and my Paladin has a ton of mid-level monster crystals.
