RK vs. 2h swords

How does the red katana's DPM/DPS stand alone without the attack shield against the lvl 70-80 2h swords doombringer, heaven's gate, and blue sceamer? is the speed on the RK worth it without an attack shield (im too poor to afford one)? would it still beat a doombringer/heaven's gate/blue screamer of equal attack? thanks!

No, without an attack shield it probably isn't worth it.

well, the thing is, a rk would do less damage per hit cas of the 1h vs. 2h dmg formula but will the fast (5) versus normal speed rk beat the normal 2h swords by that large of a margin?

My 70 atk tube(2hand) had 30 to 40 damge above my 85 atk glowing whip (1hand)no atk shield =( Over time like a long time 1hand dps is higher than 2hand but unless you're sitting there spamming I say 2hand

I think that the rk is a fast(4). A faster sword allows you to charge orbs faster, the faster you can charge your orbs the more times you can use Coma over a period of timetherfore it is faster training wize.

You're forgetting that with a 2H, the Comas are stronger too. You aren't considering in range problems either.

The damage over time can be higher... but it needs to be a long time in order to do it. If you're fighting monsters where you can kill them in a few hits, higher damage per hit may be beneficial. Until you reach Hero-dom, you really don't need to go 1-h... and it's not really reccomended to do so unless you have an atk shield... which is considerably expensive.
