Different time zones can sometimes be difficult to convert to, especially if you don't know the conversion. -_- Stop being an ass and just help the guy out. To TS: It starts in 8 hours, 30 minutes. |

And you think someone who can't tell time is going to be able to take the current time, compare it to the Basil Time add 9 and come up with the correct answer..? Right..." maybe he cant access the site so he can see when it is and maybe since he stated he lives on a different place he might not know how to get his time wen it would say here PST or EST maybe he lives in australia or Asia man just answer his question THATS IT |

 | Australia and Asia aren't on different planets, they each have their own time zone offset. Brisbane for example is GMT +10 hours*. You take the GMT time given in the Nexon announcement and add 10 to it, and that's when the event starts in Australia. How hard is that? Read the original message. He either can't figure it out, or is too lazy to do it himself. Either way, telling him how long it is to the event NOW is pointless because his message indicates he's not going to be able, or will be too lazy, to figure it out. If we knew where he lived, I could give him the magic number to add to the time for his own time zone, but he doesn't want to do it that way. (*Big Secret- Right click on the clock in your taskbar, click on "Adjust Date/Time", then click "Time Zone". It will TELL YOU the offset to add to any time to get GMT.) |

Maybe he didn't know about the clock on your taskbar. Maybe he doesn't know how to figure out the difference from GMT. So, stop being a jerk and just leave. |

Yet I'm +2 when it comes to nexon.. TS just wanted to make sure and the method I described and the one you obviously didn't read is 10 times easier to be SURE rather then doing "tricks" with your task bar clock.. |

Either you're not taking Daylight time into account, or Nexon isn't. You CAN'T "fool" the planet Earth- time zones are time zones no matter what country you're in. If you know how many zones away you are from any other place on Earth you can figure out what your local time will be at any other given time. And the point isn't whether or not >I< can figure out what the time would be with your method, the point is whether or not the TS could do it. Read his message- if he can't do it by adding 10 (or whatever his offset is), then how do you figure he'd be able to subtract two different times and add 9..? Finding your time zone offset, whether by looking at the computer that's sitting right in front of you, or going and asking your Mother or the friendly policeman on the corner, isn't a "trick", it's common sense. In other words, if you don't know something, look it up. Don't ask someone to tie your shoes for you. What's he going to do the next time there's a MS event..? Ask someone to tie his shoes again..? It's no big deal, it's just sort of sad the number of people here who can't do something basic like telling time. |

Nobody can post "Oh, it's 3 hours and 15 minutes till then" because it's when THEY posted the message. By the time YOU read it, it will have changed. If you knew how to tell time, you could figure it out for yourself instead of having to have someone tie your shoes for you." And who are you to determine how often he checks back to his thread? Seems like someone is a bit conceited. |
