Flame vs. Magic Armor

After looking at a few builds for Blaze Wizards, I didn't see one talking about this, so I was curious to know your opinion. Is maxing Flame actually handy? I mean, the damage is mostly ridiculous and I don't really see the use except maybe finishing the remaining hp of a mob. Could maxing Magic Armor and leaving Flame at 11 be better? The defense boost isn't so good, but the Flame isn't either.

It's the better of two suckers, basically. Do what you want, but IMO Flame is cooler.

+40 wep def isn't going to help you save that much more on pots at all.

Flame lost usefulness for me at around lvl 30 when I started Jr. Grupins. It was fun to have, but it would aggro monsters back when I didn't have a pet to loot, and it would also lag your kills; Sometime if you Magic Claw a monster it wouldn't die right away because Flame's Attack is a bit slower and would delay it. This isn't a big deal if you're running away but if you're timing jump-casts and tele-casts it gets in your way. Flame is also much weaker than your other skills, with just a basic attack of 20 when Maxed. Magic Armor gives you a little bit of defense that may help you save a little bit of HP but it also loses usefulness in the long run. As you move on to stronger onsters, that little bit of extra defense almost seems non-existant. Keep in mind, also, that lvl 11 flame is even more useless as it is slightly weaker. I'd tell you to flip a coin if you aren't crazy about either of the two. :/

Flame helped me in cpq a bit. I'd get stunned or sealed when a monster was almost dead and flame would kill it off for me lol

I used flame in cpq when there was no pots. I would cast it and then jump onto the one side of the mob and run across the map with flame attacking. Then i would climb the ladder on the other side and jump over the mob again. It worked, slowly.

Flame doesn't do much for me, but the minimal damage still helps. Blaze Wizards stand in the center of mobs so Flame gets a lot of targets to hit. Occasionally 500 damage is all I need to finish a monster off. I imagine I'll still cast it until I move onto Blue Kents.

Thanks for your answers. The defense boost doesn't really help in the long run, but flame CAN be some times usefull in some situations. In conclusion, I'm gonna go with flame.
