Why do people do this? It's the same speed as the normal way, just more confusing. I think it's SILLY. EDIT: It's the same speed, because; On average, both methods will always take the same amount of attempts. However, not everyone understands KMS as easily which leads to mistakes. That slows it down. Additionally, the slight increase in complexity between the two methods seems to cause people to occasionally skip over combinations. I see this all the time. Some say the "KMS" method allows you to move between the boxes faster, but this is a negligible difference, is affected by a large number of variables (from people's laggy internet connections to whether they're paying attention or not) and in the end isn't enough to make up for the average amount of time lost for the above two points.

KMS is faster if the combo is near the end (like 73517)

I disagree. You go through it faster, and test more possibilities. And if you're confused by it... That's pretty sad.

it actually takes longer to finish stage 8 if you have to explain everything and stuff so really, it's better to do it the old fashioned way, but even then there's still some people who don't know how to do it that way....

JMS is much faster. It took us 20 minutes in one pq to get through non-JMS from moving to 1, 2, and 3. With JMS you kill 2 or 3 combinations..
