| Ok so i don't really care much either way about leechers. I wouldn't ever do it but thats just me. If that's what others spend their mesos on that's fine with me unless it directly affects me. And while i was never going to be the first lvl 120 cygnus knight, leechers or no leechers; someone would have been, had there been no leechers. And lets face is that person who wouldv'e sat there and grinded for hours straight with 2x or 4x wouldv'e deserved it a lot more than someone who afked on a ladder while someone else did the work. Some solutions posed already were to not allow partying for the first few months. and so why punish all of maple to prevent leeching? I thought of a better solution. When they come out with a contest like this they should open up a few new servers for contest only. If you want to participate in the first ck to 120 gets an ipod you have to be playing in the contest server all other server 120s dont count. obviously no one would be allowed to transfer into the contest server and the server shouldnt have access to mts. this would make it a lot more of an even playing field. they should go as far as to not allow nx purchases in the contest servers too. once again so no one would have the 2x advantage but nexon would never miss out on an opportunity to get cash and im sure most of you wouldnt like that idea. Now it would be a pure grind off to 120. It would actually be an accomplishment. It would take a month or 2 at least! Once the contest is over and someone has hit 120 or whatever there should be an announcement to all servers congratulating whoever and the contest servers should remain open for another 3-5 days. During these 3-5 days players cant login to the contest characters but instead have the option of choosing a world to transfer them to for free. This way the contest is doable for everyone not just the high lvl nx leech wh0res. and you have the choice in whether you want to participate or not. just a simple solution i thought of. discuss Edit ok apparently i didnt come across very clear. The 3-4 new servers would only be up during the contest. they would be a fresh server so no one could leech a character in that server. I repeat everyone would start at lvl 1. I would prefer the cash shop be disabled in the contest servers so that no one has an advantage. But i doubt that idea would fly with nexon and there money craving ways. After the very first person hits 120 the server would close. No all your hard work would not be lost you would have a 5 day period to use a free transfer to transfer your contest character to a normal world. All this technique does is puts everyone on an equal playing field no leechers no 2x. its a purely fair contest. it would also still allow you to create the cygnus knight on a regular server for those who purely want the 12 attack those characters just wouldnt be a part of the contest..
