I used to, but not anymore. I noticed something though.. in WoW they have way better programmers and whatever, whenever a problem arises they fix it in a second. In nexon it takes months, sometimes never gets fixed. So yeah, why can't nexon hire real programmers like World of Warcraft programmers?

Because it's not Pay-to-play? o.o WoW actually gets money to hire good programmer's to fix glitches/bugs, because to play, you have to pay! Where as for Maple story, you don't "have" to pay for NX, it's optional.

World of Warcraft is a pay-to-play game with software releases that cost 40-50$ and they still can manage to sell it even if it has extremely minimal content. On top of the, what, 9m+ players they have? I mean, is this at all a serious question as to why a company that makes way more money than Nexon is able to get a quality staff while a free-to-play game doesn't? I guess common sense isn't so common?

Man, I played WoW for 3 years. It's amazing. GMs are really nice, I had no problem with them. I remember when there was a bug that made your group fall through the floor in Auchindon, they fixed it in a day. Really great service on that game.

Yes it is pay to play but Nexon also makes a butload of money. People spend more than 100$ a month on NX while WoW gets like 15$. But yes they do have MORE people playing which means more money but im sure Nexon has enough money to hire some pretty good programmers

Because wow makes 195 million dollars a month and maplestory makes that in a year.

Programmers at Blizzard probably enjoy what they do and what they're paid to do. Thus, a higher morale and better motivation to do their best for the players. On the other hand, Nexon pays their workers just above (if not exactly) minimum wage; personally, even if I worked at something I really enjoyed but wasn't paid very well, I wouldn't be very motivated to do my absolute best. It all comes down to how much the company commits to their employees.

I play World of Warcraft. I find the game play fun. End game raids add a nice touch of difficulty...and best of all the GMs are useful. They will even give you back a character that you deleted as long as it is within 1 year of deletion.

I'm pretty sure Nexon make's a lot more money in NX than WoW paying a little each month...
