Wizet is better then Nexon? Hey guys for years there has been controversy on how "It was better when Wizet was here." Lets take a look at that statement there, now a lot of people say that. Also,mostly a good majority of those people bandwagon and joined after Nexon merged with Wizet and say that to seem like a veteran to the game. Now I'm not gonna lie, I'm not what you call a veteran to the game, I joined after Nexon merged with Wizet. Now lets get to the straight edge fact here, when Wizet was here alone, there was a crap load of hackers. From story's I've heard, at least 1/3 of maps were filled with hackers when Wizet was alone, and when Nexon joined a lot of the hacking decreased. Maplestory, And Why It's Here. On another point, Nexon is the reason MapleStory didn't go out of business, or become pay to play. So my point is, in my truly honest opinion, it's not Nexons fault, it's the Maplers fault. When you look at it logically, why was the auto ban system made? Cause there wasn't enough GMs to ban all the hackers. Now why would Nexon make this system, it's faulty, glitched and has defiantly errors, well it's because of the Maplers. GMs now a days are harassed by Maplers about how they don't ban people, or do their job. So guess what, they quit. If people were harassing you that you don't do your job right, wouldn't you quit? I'm not talking 2~5 people here, I'm talking entire servers filled with thousands of people who are majority, yes majority are made up of immature brats, ignorant brats. Whiners People only whine on the bad things Nexon do, or anything new that Nexon makes people rant on how bad Nexon screwed up. Nobody's perfect you know, mistakes are part of being a human. A few bugs, so what? At least Nexon notices in time and fixes it. People these days are pretty impatient, like when Nexon extends a patch/server check, and they do it to make sure there's no bugs and everything runs smoothly. Wizet wouldn't be able to fund all the things that we have these days in Maple. In my honest opinion, the veterans to the game and people who pose as veterans should really think twice when they say "It was better when Wizet was here", cause I doubt Wizet could do better. Summary For The Lazy First Paragraph Summary People say how better Wizet is then Nexon, I defend that statement by saying how there was more hackers when Wizet was around, and when Nexon came the hacking decreased. Second Paragraph Summary My point how Nexon kept MapleStory in business, as known as "free." Also how I say how GMs were harassed so they quit there jobs, less GMs around means Nexon needs a system. The auto ban system, which has many flaws. So I say how it's the Maplers fault it was created, if they were more nicer, it wouldn't be needed. Final Paragraph Summary My point how the people who whine on the bad things Nexon do. I say how nobody is perfect, how Nexon acknowledges the bugs they make to fix it. I liked it too, but would've liked it better with paragraphs to ease the wall of text and make it easier to read. EDIT: Thank you for organizing it

Basically the thread was a diss to all veterans of MS. -waits for flame war- Na, it was just about how he thinks Nexon is better than Wizet because when Wizet was around, there were hackers and when Nexon came, there were less. HE also said that people who says (insert title here) should think twice before saying (insert title here) How I see this: The only way a game is good is when the company that created the game cares more about the player then the profit. MapleStory isn't really one of them. I see Nexon is trying to help make the game more fun by adding more events and classes and such, but they went way overboard. Too much of a good thing is too much of a bad thing. They're surely pissing off about one forth of the Maple population which will be the veterans. Nexon humbly knows that veterans have more experience about the game and know how to budget their money/learned that NX isn't worth the price you pay. The newcomers which would be the fresh income of players would be enjoying this new type of MS since it has a lot of things to do. They didn't play the first few adventurer classes and didn't know much about how equal they are. They just choose the best class which would be the newest class and start playing, which sometimes lead to excessive use of the Cash Shop. As you see veterans always have the experience, newcomers are the ones that destroy the game and ignore what veterans have to say. Just for fun, guess if I'm a veteran or a newcomer.

You forget that that in the time of Wizet, MapleStory's community was at its peak because people helped one another. Now it's every man for himself and Buy NX or you're gonna phail at MS. Back then, it didn't matter if you had NX or not, you could still be the very best.

At least he writes well so you can sum up what he's trying to say rather quickly. Also I agree and disagree. With Wizet, cash didn't control the game nearly as much as Nexon.
