Diamonds and their Odds.

Now a friend of mine and I have been in a debate about Diamonds. I took the side of the prices rising considering I merchanted some diamonds before the maker skill, also being rather optimistic cause of the fact that it hasn't been a week since it was released. He took the side of them deflating after next week, predicting that demand will go down and being too much quantities of diamonds around. Now to those in general, Basilers, which option would you choose will be most probable?

Merchanters having saving up diamonds right? Which means there is a huge supply. There may be more supply then what the people of Maplestory want so.... If that happens prices will fall

This is happening to me too, I bought around 300 diamonds and spent a total of 90m on them, However instead of inflating, they have actually deflated (LAME) and I am wondering the same thing too. P.S: We should start a revolution in Khaini and raise the diamond prices to like 5m

After people start to understand the effects of the Maker Skill and the inner workings of raising stats in armors and weapons. People will need diamonds soon, but will it outweigh the many that have been saved up to sell? Theres thousands and thousands of diamonds probably everywhere in each server, perhaps millions altogether.

With the Dawn WArriors reaching lvl 65, they'll get the chance to make above avg. atk red Katanas, and since it take so many diamonds to make an intermediate diamond (100 i think), the demand will be greater than the supply

There are thousands and thousands in the possession of 1 person, and there are a lot of people who are just like them.

It actually takes 10 basic diamonds which is the equivalent of 10 diamonds to make an intermediate diamond. Theres even a chance to get intermediate diamonds AND advanced diamonds while trying to make basic ones. I got around 20 intermediate diamonds trying to make basic ones, and 3 advanced diamonds too. Theres a probability of getting either, and you can make a basic diamond no matter what, I assume. Also theres a probability of failure when making an advanced diamond or an intermediate diamond. Each time you fail, you lose one intermediate or basic diamond depending on what diamond you're making. So you'll need to make another basic or intermediate diamond to go for another chance at making a higher leveled diamond And I saw a thread about a person having 10k diamonds saved from merchanting for a year..
