I'd recently been struck by malware under the name of System Security 2009. I've already removed most of it, though a few of it's remnants still persist. The only problem I still have is that I am unable to view major antivirus and spyware removal websites, such as malwarebytes, symantec, remove-malware, etc... So the question is, which spyware removal tool should I use? I've already run Ad-Aware and Malwarebytes in and out of Safe mode. aw dammit. wrong section? D:

I think I had something like that. I used malwarebytes, and not full scan, I used quick scan. For some reason it got rid of it with quick scan but couldn't find anything on full scan O.o

Full and smart, in and out of safe mode, and it doesn't seem to be finding anything now.

I got that stupid security thing to. It tells you that you have like 200 viruses so you buy their product but it lies to you. I just used malwarebytes and it never bothered me again. Try a registry cleaner?

that antivirus software that automatically downloads itself? as soon as you see it start downloading either hold shut down button down or take battery out and unplug computer. because that thing wouldnt let me system restore and killed my hard drive. i dont have the money to fix it so my other laptops been dead since december
