well i'm training my new blazer and i have to sacrifice one skill, i saw lvl 38 balzers hit 1 k with fire arrow not maxed, i find slow really useless. But many guides say that fire arrow has same attack as magic claw and should not be maxed... now i am confused. any help please?

Fire Arrow is only a little bit stronger then Magic Claw, and will get replaced by Fire Strike in 3rd Job. Slow is going to help a ton when curtaining monsters. So go with Slow.

The reason people say slow is because in 3rd job you will be using fire curtain and slow helps with that. FA for a blaze wizard is nerfed, so there is only a 30% difference between it and magic claw (that really isn't a lot), not to mention it's slower and less versatile. Furthermore you shouldn't be using FA at all as a Blaze Wizard. Mobbing>1v1. Fire Pillar is pretty much the only attack you need, and if you need to finish of a monster left over from a mob then magic claw is sufficient. In 3rd job Blaze Wizards get fire strike which is stronger than FA and can hit up to 6 monsters. In the long run it's a useless skill. People just max it for fun and the cool new graphic. The practical choice has been and always will be slow. There have been other threads about this recently check them out. I'm getting tired of answering these posts f7
