Don't bother posting if you haven't read my entire thread. It just shows you have no interest and no one wants to read your useless spam post. Post serious replies only to this thread or i'll report you. We all buy some, we all spend it, we all love it (kinda...): NX CASH. We all know and have all heard the following: ''Omg don't tell me you just wasted over 50 bucks for virtual clothes and a pet!''. Or the ''150 bucks for a virtual item! NO WAY! Those people have no lives! You could of spend that on something USEFULL IRL!'' Now lets think about this. What if, and i'm just saying WHAT IF you had suddenly won the lottery. I'm not gonna say a number, but lets imagine a very LARGE amount. Now, would you still resist the temptation? You know that you can buy anything and everything and still have tons leftover for the rest of your life, correct? So naturally, you'd go spend alot of money on MapleStory. This is KIND OF the same in most people's cases. Let me explain: When people have a job (it could be a minimum job) and still live with their parents (until they finish their studies), they will mostly have alot of cash. Why? No rent to pay, food is probably payed by the parents, etc etc. And even if you go out alot and buy TONS of clothes, you still have alot of cash left in your bank account. This is why spending alot of nx doesn't really affect us. I mean, if we didn't have the possiblility to buy most things.. (job-less...) then i could understand. But otherwise... who cares? It ain't hurting anyone. You're putting money into something you enjoy. Example: My friend loves biking, he'll go spend up to 300$ per WHEEL. LIKE WHAT! His bike cost over 2000$ and he's not even done with the repairs >.> But me, i spend 300$ on a perfectly working bike. It's light, has multiple speeds, looks nice and does the job. This is where all that cash leftover goes to--> Maple. It really depends on what your financial status is, and if maple's your hobby or not.

Yeaup, it varies from each individual, and what interests them. You wouldn't spend over a 100 bucks on a game you dislike. I don't get why people judge others on what they spend their money on.

People complain about how NX users get an advantage. People who pay more money get better things irl and they don't understand that. Plus the fact that these people that buy NX help maplestory stay up and running, and one of the main reasons why maplestory is still a free game.

I agree 100%. I think all of the people who complain and make fun of people are the ones who are 10-15 and have to buy nx through mommy and daddy. Ive been playing maple for 3 years and Ive only spent around $350. If I played WOW I wouldve spent around $540 just on the subscription fee and many many more people see no problem with that.

Getting advantage is another thing. Though I understand it must suck for the non-nx buyers.

I think it's better to put that money in a P2P game with more mature players, like WoW (even though WoW is quite quite easy to play and understand, and it's not an Action MMORPG, so is Maple except Maple is an Action MMORPG). But, I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinions. I just don't like it when people either show off their NX, spend their parents' money, or are poor or something and still get NX, while complaining about other financial needs.

We're humans. We make arrogant and stupid decisions a lot. 'Oh, I have twenty bucks and I can't afford a Nintendo DSi. I'ma spend it on MapleStory to look cool and get better.' Person X should have saved up so he/she can buy something else that's worth the money.

I spent only a total of 65$ on Maplestory. I played for over three years. If I played WoW I would've spend waay more.

I've spent 160$ so far, and I'm enjoying it. I don't like any gadgets right now so I spend my money in Maple whenever I want. And also, I've played Maple for more than 3 years.

I only bought NX once in my life. A $25 card. The rest of the NX I had was given to me by online friends :D It happened to me twice or 3 times. So I call myself lucky :]

We love to spend cash, that's reality. Doesn't matter what we are buying or who we are buying it for, i am not sure but i believe it is called vanity. NOT SURE bad english. ^^

Would this still matter if your name was Paris Hilton? (you know her rule ''Never wear the same clothe/dress more then once'') I don't think so. It all depends on your financial situation. | Honestly... Think about it. There are plenty of people that will go and spend $60 USD on a new video game, or for example, me, $500 on a new lacrosse stick. with that thought about, $100 seems like a lot less than 100K NX. |
