first, let me clarify; i am not going, aside from this mention, to bring up any custom-site-skin modifications. that is a person-to-person issue, and isnt allowed to be brought up. if you wanna discuss custom themes, take it to profil3 . second, this is solely for the users to try and express some form of creative input. ive no intention of saying to B "hai, deez hur peepuhlz haf maked skeenz, yuz dems!" if you feel that, should your idea be good enough, that it should be used, then send it to B via report . now to my main point: the current banner is, in my opinion, old and stale. i mean, yeah, seeing the polar bear in front of a shinto-esque shrine during the day, and a bunch of costumed weirdo's enter a bar (for any number of deboucherous acts) at night is all fine and dandy, but, what about freshening up a bit? I mean, hell, everyone needs to update their image at some point. what would, in your opinion (anyone that posts), be a suitable banner material/inspiration/concept? id contribute, but, my personal bias towards the night theme makes me not-so-good at it... aside from more 'CSI' type BS for the night theme. =S

I don't like the banner and never have. It's so random and clashes with the simplicity of the rest of the site.

Nowhere in the current rules state that Stylish themes can't be brought up, but yeah, I agree that I wish the banner was changed a bit.

I'd rather have a simpler version of what we have now, with just Mr.Basil, your avatar, the Basilmarket logo, and the bluish background.. The banners crowded with background and avatars can be annoying.

I know theres at least one lurking in here. and yeah, i should say that i want to hear peoples opinions on the header/banner/(whatever you call it). the thing that changes from day to night. as i stated, something akin to CSI for the night theme is what i think would be interesting.
