It's just another hoax. I've realized how much people came back because of CK. I doubt they'd wanna break that in a second. I've believed Nexon to be greedy, I'm sure many of you people are convinced also. MapleStory is creating a new storyline, which leads to Cygnus Knights all the way to Aran. None of you know yet, unless you've got ILLEGAL sources, I heard Aran's awake from frozen stones to continue works of Cygnus Knight's. I'm hearing that part of that story is true, but the other is all mumbo jumbo. -Story = Cygnus Knight's fail to defeat Black Mages and they become stones. Then they expire. [Fail Storyline] -Story = Cygnus Knight's fail to defeat Black Mages and they become stones. Then Aran's awaken from whatever and attempt to finish the job. Cygnus Knight's would by now be optional, [A.K.A no need for Level 20's] I know this from MSEA + KMS. EDIT : Hmm, Aran Promotional Video. (youtube) -Coincidence or what?-

The reason some people think CK may expire is because once again, Nexon is using confusing language. Just like they made it sound like Agent equipment expired on September 9, they're calling this the "Cygnus Knights EVENT". And up until now, EVENTS have always gone away.

Part of this is true, most of the events are being removed after Agents. But remember, the EXPlosion event is here to stay now. Cygnus Knights Event is misread all the time. This event is for the iPod and the other prizes they are offering.
