EDIT: Thanks guys, i totally thought that gem slots was the crossed boxes, i never thought it were the blank space, sorry about my misunderstanding. Hello, i have been trying to figure out how the number of gem slots works on maker skill. I got Maker Skill 3 just when the patch came out(without SC), doing the side quests and giving 2 intermediate crystal 1 to Moren, then got the crmpled paper and finished it with 6 Gold Ores, 2 Steel Plates, 1 Lidium. PS: I didn't have to finish all Keol's quests to get it. At lvl 145, Maker Skill 3, i still have only one gem slot option to craft higher level equips like Reverse Staff. I though it was character level based, but i see that it isn't. ScreenShot: Link I dont know if it's a bug and if it's only me that got this kinda of issue. Just wondering if i'm missing something. I would like to know if someone else is having the same problem and/or got a solution for this. Thanks. EDIT: i though it was cus of Keol's quests too, and finished all the Keol's quests, but still nothing changed.

no, you are misunderstanding something. The only equipment that get 3 gem upgrade slots are the lv 120 equipment. everything below the reverse and timeless weapons have either 2 or 1 slot.

It's like this for me too and when I go to like.. a serpent's tongue (Level 50), there's more slots o.o

well ur blind. the blank spaces right to the stimulator space is for u to put gems. you can put more than 1 gem :P

I dont know if i get what you trying to say but, the thing is, i have seen SS of ppl making Reverse Staff at rate of 4 gem slots(in JMS, maybe that's why), my friend have 3 slots available for Reverse Staff. But the problem i'm having is that i have only 1 gem slot available to craft the Reverse Staff. While i see ppl having 3 gem slots.

the fact that you can get it to pop up insures that you have the skill at lv 3. I have no idea what is limiting you from 3 slots o.o , file a ticket

I just noticed in game while forging, you can indeed use 3 gems. You put the gems inside the blanks, not those boxes.

yea the gems are put in the blank area and the box wiith the slash is an unusable slot

The blanks represent the gem slots, not the crosses. I'm assuming only the Timeless weapons can use all 4 slots, though. There's nothing wrong with your Maker Skill.
