I traded my 120 att 10 str stonetooth sword 0 slots (no hammer) for a 119 attack 7 str stonetooth sword 0 slots (no hammer) and 120m, so...did i get ripped? or was it average? or did i make a good deal?

No, you made a smart move. Think of it like this - if you sold the ST and took the mesos you got from the trade, you could buy an even stronger ST (if one was available)... maybe 122-125 or so. All you lose is 1 atk and 3 STR... you won't really notice the loss in damage, so yeah... profit made ^_^d
