Training with Storm Break (wind archer)

Ello peeps. When I was ~40 I realized the potential of Storm Break not only as a knock-back attack, but as a damaging one as well. So after 5 or so levels of training using only max Storm Break (maybe a Double Shot once in a while...but much much more rarely) I thought I would tell the world about it. Here is me training: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fIOr_xFTMA (youtube) I tested training with only using Storm Break and with only using Double Shot. I had 2x EXP on. I was also using a Cider and a Speed Pill. 118020 exp in 10 minutes with Double Shot 196.7 per second 11802/min 708120/hour 190320 exp in 10 minutes with SB 317.2 per second 19032/min 1141920/hour I used my Wind Sprite (Storm) to aggro the monsters so I wouldn't have to walk to them. Perhaps Storm can still be useful in 2nd job? An level 49 Archer needs about ~520k EXP points to level. If I train with 2x I can level twice in an hour~ :O This training method is helpful in maps without snipe points or monsters that can't be KB'd. (Some rooms in CPQ, anyone? o_o) Kay I'm done. Call me insane, but I used this training method for 5 levels and I like it much better than using Double Shot.

Well, Almost all mobbing skills can really help your training in large areas such as MP3/Truckers. And that is also why I use storm, so that it will hit the monsters and come to me. However, I don't think this will be a good tactic in an area such as bone fish when double shot will do almost twice as much damage on a single monster. Storm breath is an excellent mobbing skill (Personally my favorite because its a 100% KB) but it depends on where you train.

you can train at voodoos at 40 with 9x% KB storm break. it's pretty insane =/

Well, I'm more of a party guy, my priest was trained from 21-64 pure pq or quest, but it's glad people spread the word. I look at people flocking for dawn warrior and thunder breaker... and the best class is one of the lowest populated.Oh well more for us ^.^ My storm break at level 2 (Lv38) does a max out (Critical) of about 800-900. I can't wait to see it fully powered like yours....

ya it was pretty much understood that you were supposed to use storm break as your main attack in 2nd job especially when you look at other archers and their builds its always 1 mob skill then mastery then booster/soul arrow to a decent lvl or a mob skill. And what did you think you were going to be using until lvl 70?dont say wind walk that would be sad

Storm Break isn't just a powerful mobbing attack, it should be the attack you use most in 2nd job.
